Displaying Your VEXA:
A Collector's Guide

VEXA is built in motion. Smoke that moves, light that breathes, data that pulses. How you put it on your wall matters. This guide exists so your piece lives the way it was made to live.

Three tiers. One standard.

Every display choice is valid. The standard is the same across all three: the work should move, the image should be clear, and the frame should disappear into the wall. What changes is the scale and the commitment to installation.

Display Tiers

Three ways to live with VEXA.

01 The Entry Point Dedicated Tablet or Small Display

A 10–15 inch dedicated tablet or digital frame with looping video playback. Simple. Effective. Put it on a shelf, a desk, or mount it flat. The piece still moves. The energy still lands. This is how most collectors start.

02 The Art Display Digital Canvas or Framed Screen

A purpose-built digital art display like the Samsung Frame or Meural Canvas. These are designed to disappear into the wall and present work at gallery quality. Matte finish, proper aspect ratio, built to loop. The right move for a living room or studio wall.

03 The Installation Large Format with Professional Setup

Large format display, in-wall power and signal routing, professional installation. This is the museum standard. The piece fills the room the way it was built to. The cord disappears. The work becomes architecture.

On the cord question

Truly wireless video at wall scale does not exist yet at any price point.

This is the honest answer. Wireless HDMI solutions exist but introduce latency and compression artifacts that degrade the work. Until the technology catches up, the cord is part of the installation.

It is an installation problem, not a dealbreaker.

For a quick and clean solution: cable raceways from any hardware store. They run along the baseboard or up the wall and paint to match. $15 and an afternoon. For serious collectors who want the cord completely invisible: in-wall conduit routed by an electrician is the professional standard. It is the same solution used in every gallery and museum installation in the world.

The cord is not the point. The work is the point. Do not let the cord become the reason you do not live with the piece the way it deserves to be lived with.

File Format

Your file is built to loop.

VEXA pieces are delivered as high-resolution video files (MP4) optimized for continuous looping playback. No fade-in, no fade-out — the piece runs as a seamless cycle the way smoke actually moves. Your display device should be set to loop continuously with the screen always on during display hours.
